Clear interface: All program options are clearly presented through the app's main interface. To complete a conversion, just fill in the required fields as you work your way down the page, making selections concerning which file you'd like to convert, where you'd like to save the converted file, what type of layout you'd like, and more, and then click Convert.
Conversion options: Through this app, you can covert PDFs to several different file formats including DOCX, DOC, RTF, TXT, and XML. You can also choose to extract images only in various formats like PNG, BMP, J2K, TIFF, and more.
Cons
Save locations: When deciding where to save your converted file, you can choose from a list of entries including Source Folder, Desktop, My Documents, or My Downloads. The only other option is Other, but this selection doesn't work as intended. It's supposed to open a Finder window to let you browse locations and make your choice, but instead it picks a random location.
Unclear error messages: Some error messages the program presents only include an alert icon and no text. That makes it hard to know what exactly the problem was that prompted the message and gives you no clues about how to correct it in the future.
Bottom Line
PDF to Word Converter gives you multiple options for changing PDF files into other formats so you can edit or share them. There are definitely some minor bugs, but the program does complete its stated functions competently
